Hydraulic balancing is an essential operation for ensuring thermal comfort and controlling energy consumption in collective heating systems.
For over 20 years, MAPSEC has been working on-site to diagnose, analyse, and optimise the hydraulic networks of residential and commercial buildings.
Our approach is based on proven field expertise, a rigorous methodology, and tools developed specifically to ensure reliable adjustments.

L'équilibrage hydraulique est essentiel pour garantir que le débit d'eau dans chaque circuit d'un système de chauffage ou de refroidissement est correctement réglé pour fournir le bon niveau de confort et d'efficacité énergétique.
The imbalance in collective heating circuits is very widespread.
It consists of insufficient or excessive heating water circulation depending on the distribution zones.
It manifests as complaints from some co-owners or tenants who are sometimes faced with rather low ambient temperatures, even while the rest of the building is properly or generously heated.
Restoring homogenous heating water circulation allows for significant energy savings and re-establishes comfort in poorly irrigated areas.

Field-based expertise
Unlike purely theoretical approaches based solely on flow rate calculations, our methodology relies on actual thermal observation of the network's behaviour.
We operate in:
-
Risers
-
Horizontal networks
-
Underfloor heating
-
Substations
-
Residential apartment buildings
-
Commercial buildings
Each installation has specific hydraulic characteristics that require tailored analysis.

EQUILOG: the professional tool developed by MAPSEC
EQUILOG: the professional tool developed by MAPSEC
The experience gained in the field has led us to develop EQUILOG, software dedicated to hydraulic balancing.
EQUILOG allows:
-
Structured analysis of measures
-
Assistance with adjusting components
-
The automatic generation of technical reports
-
Traceability of interventions
-
The standardisation of procedures
It is used by our teams and offered to professionals wishing to structure and secure their balancing operations.
