EQUILOG hydraulic balancing instrument

EQUILOG is a professional hydraulic balancing instrument designed to facilitate the diagnosis, measurement and balancing of heating hot water, domestic hot water and chilled water installations

The solution combines measuring instruments, a tablet and EQUILOG software to support the technician at every stage of a hydraulic balancing operation.

EQUILOG allows work according to several balancing methods, notably by Temperature Difference, Delta P and according to a hybrid method, in order to adapt to the various hydraulic network configurations.

The objective is to provide the technician with a complete solution enabling them to carry out the necessary measurements, analyse the behaviour of the installation and make adjustments in order to achieve a more uniform distribution of flow rates within the network.

Delta T hydraulic balancing

The method Temperature Difference relies on the temperatures measured on the system to help the technician analyse the operation of the hydraulic network and make the necessary adjustments.

EQUILOG centralises the data collected during the intervention and facilitates the monitoring of the various stages of balancing.

This method can be used in particular on installations of wet central heating, when the temperature analysis makes it possible to highlight operational discrepancies between the different parts of the network.

Hydraulic balancing by Delta P

EQUILOG also makes it possible to carry out balancing operations from the differential pressure Delta P.

Using a differential pressure measuring instrument, the technician can take the necessary readings on the valves and control devices of the installation.

The EQUILOG software allows these values to be integrated directly into the balancing process and centralises the measurements taken on site.

EQUILOG hybrid method

EQUILOG also offers a hybrid hydraulic balancing method, combining multiple pieces of data from the installation.
